The Western Invitational Chess Camp is a unique opportunity for intense instruction from very experienced instructors and with talented scholastic players.
Players are divided into groups based on rating and age for five full days of chess instruction. The instructors are very excited about the opportunity to work with very talented junior chess players, and this camp is expected to be the highest rated chess camp in the U.S.
Following the camp there is an adult tournament called the Ye Olde Pueblo. Lodging will be provided by the host families for the duration of each player's stay, whether or not they stay for the tournament. Family members are welcome to accompany camp participants. While the camp will be quite intensive with 7 hours of chess instruction daily, additional chess events and non-chess activities are also planned.
If you have any questions about the camp, contact Robby Adamson (Camp Director).
