The Western Invitational Chess Camp is a unique opportunity for intense instruction from very experienced instructors with talented scholastic players. This is the strongest chess camp in the U.S.

Players are divided into groups based on rating and age for five (5) full days of chess instruction. In 2013, there were 7 masters and 19 players rated over 2100!!

Following the camp there is an adult tournament called the Ye Olde Pueblo. Lodging will be provided by the host families for the camp, and possibly the tournament held after. Family members are welcome to accompany camp participants, especially with younger students. While the camp will be quite intensive with 7 hours of chess instruction daily, additional chess events and non-chess activities are also planned.

If you have any questions about the camp, contact Robby Adamson (Camp Director).
